Mercedes has expanded the GLC family in Australia with the introduction of the GLC 200 4Matic. The model is on sale as we speak as an alternative to the superior GLC 300 4Matic.

As mentioned in the title, this model is now available with the brand's all-wheel drive system in a premiere in the Land Down Under. Power is supplied by a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine assisted by a 48-volt electrical system and an integrated starter generator.

According to the three-pointed star brand, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 4Matic's four-banger mill develops up to 150 kW (204 ps/201 hp) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, with the ISG adding up to 17 kW (23 ps/23 hp) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft). The mode uses a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and 4Matic AWD, taking a respectable 7.8s to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph).

Mercedes says this model features 19-inch wheels with a ten-twin-spoke design in tremolite gray with a high-sheen finish. It also comes with aluminum-look running boards with rubber studs, LED headlamps with highbeam assist, a panoramic sliding sunroof, a 360-degree camera system, active park assist, transparent hood feature, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and power-operated side mirrors with Mercedes logo projection.
